We believe in the importance of positive childhood experiences. We endeavour to support and preserve the essence of childhood and ensure its magic, mystery and enchantment is embedded in every aspect of our involvement with children.

Since 1990 Teddy Bears Kindy has been educating and caring for the children of the Nambucca Valley. Warm friendships and strong relationships have been formed with our families and we have become an established part of the Nambucca Community, caring for a second generation of children, watching them grow and celebrating their achievements.

Childhood is a sparkling bedrock that forms the foundations of life. We celebrate this time in children’s lives and strive to create memories with them, a feeling of being safe and cherished, a sense of wonder about the world and a culture of acceptance and kindness towards others. 

We use our extensive knowledge and experience in early childhood education to teach children through play and in doing so strengthen their resilience, their sense of self and their capacity to learn both independently and with support from peers and adults.

Interest and Queries

We provide early childhood education and long day care for children aged between six months and six years. We focus on quality outcomes for all our children and in doing so ensure higher than regulated staff to child ratios as well as qualifications for staff. 

We understand the need for flexible hours for families and operate from 7.30am to 6.00pm on weekdays, 50 weeks per year.
